CALIFORNIA – post-closed beta version release of Cortana, Microsoft today finally unveiled a public beta to Cortana. This version can be used by users of Android devices in the United States.
As reported Phone Arena, Tuesday (25/8/2015), Android users can now begin to download and install the Beta version of Cortana applications on their devices.Although Android itself has had Google Now which is a personal digital assistant similar to Cortana.
However, both are assessed to have a fundamental difference because it is not like Google Now, Cortana using Microsoft Bing search engine so it will give different results. Like a good personal assistant, Cortana allows you to set a reminder and alarm calls, messages, and laim etc.
Users can download the application via the link first source of Cortana, but before the user must agree to some terms and conditions to become a "tester", before actually downloading the application. The device that the application can try this beta version of Cortana must be at least running the Android operating system KitKat 4.0 upwards.
However, because it is still in Beta, the application may not always run smooth in all versions of the smartphone or tablet.
