Google Build New Data Center in Ireland

Google Inc. Has started construction of the building of the data center in Dublin West, in Profile Park, Ireland.

Ronan Harris, Head of Google Ireland, mentions this facility will be the second Google data center located in Dublin. Construction site adjacent to the existing data center has been in operation ever since.

For the sake of side by side with the existing data center, Google has purchased 31 acres of land in Profile Park. Google apparently deliberately put the location of the data center side by side. Because in the future, the addition of the data center will be a liability.

On this project, Google will hire 400 people to complete the initial phase of construction-targeted for completion this year.

He said, Google's use of enhanced energy so efficiently. Thus, the latest data center that would be the data center with the world's most power efficient: for advanced air power wear and cooling systems to keep your computer running smoothly.

With energy efficient, this enables Google to reduce energy significantly. Mainly to maintain the status of our company are recorded as the company carbon neutral(carbon-neutral company), "said Harris.

The construction of data centers Google came out a few months before Apple announced plans to build a data center worth  850 million in Athenry, Galway, which will be powered by renewable energy. Data center in Dublin will be integrated with core platform Google, including YouTube, Google Maps, and Gmail.

"Every day, millions of people in the world find information, products, or services on Google," he added.

Google has recently experienced a natural disaster, where your building data center in Belgium, being struck by lightning. As a result Google should lose virtual data. Data center located in the region of Saint-Ghislain failed doing data restoration due to that event.

Once solved, Google revealed that about five percent of the data that resides in a zone of Google Compute engines, Google's cloud computing platform is lost and cannot be restored anymore.
