ZTE and Makassar City Government signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership in the implementation of smart city solution in a familiar city called City of Daeng.

The signing of the MoU which was held on 16 August 2015 it initiate the long-term good relations between the Government and ZTE Makassar city, to focus develop resources in order to improve the quality of management of public security.

"In dealing with a wide range of public safety, the various security agencies are required to continue to keep the safety of the community, as well as property and infrastructure of the city. By implementing solutions for smart city public safety, the security institutions can do to effectively control and coordination in order to give the best service to the community, "explained Mohammad Pomanto Ramdhan, Mayor of Makassar.

Under the leadership of Mayor are familiar is called Danny Pomanto, a number of smart city solutions has begun to be applied in Makassar, as wi-fi access urban and smart cards which include many of the Affairs and administration of government agencies. The goal of this collaboration is to assist the Government of the city of Makassar in creating a comfortable space of the city.

"It is a pride for ZTE to cooperate with the Government in improving the Makassar city public security system. The application of modern information and communication systems offered by solution Smart City ZTE is the solution usable strategic security services, such as medical officers, police officers and firefighters to anticipate emergencies and provide a rapid response and emergency response as well as improving collaboration with Agency-related institutions, "said Yan Changzhi, Sales Director of PT. ZTE Indonesia.

Further Yan said public security system integrates-owned ZTE combines the entire mechanism for tackling emergency situations to deal with crime, social instability, natural disasters, and matters related to public safety more.

Before the signing of this memorandum of understanding, ZTE has also showcased the ZTE solution iCity Public Safety to public security in the venues of Losari Beach on the anniversary of the first year of the reign of Danny Pomanto and Syamsu Rizal (him) as Mayor and Vice Mayor of the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi.

ZTE do a test or trial of one solution, namely the communications trunking ZTE iLTEGoTa4G. This solution provides wireless multimedia communication networks that are fast, flexible, and effective, which can be used to improve the management of public security.
